Framed

Its 2020, just at the begging of Covid-19 pandemic, Creators 22 team and Henrijs Geidāns,  decided to enter Latvian National Television project competition - project developing TV series. After more than a month we received a message that we have won the competition and we can start the project. Affected by pandemic, we had to postpone the production of the TV series. But it gave us more time to develop the idea, do more research and assemble a great team of young and experienced crew members.

Underfunded and with big ambitions we managed to film 8 episodes (20+ minutes per episode) in 21 shifts, with only 15 minutes of over time, a lot of sleepless nights and most of the days fighting 30 + degrees  heat during the whole production process. TV series -  “Ierāmēts “(Framed) aired on Latvian National Television Youtube channel on 30th of September 2021.

Series “Ierāmēts” follows ongoing events of a high-school student  Arturs. He has been raised in conservative family, his mother Diana wants hime to pursue her dream of academic painter, but he is more interested in street art. Since he was 14 years old he has been drawing graffiti one the streats and has been dreaming of becoming and young fashion designer. Arturs is trying to find his path in life and ends up making a lot of wrong choices.
